During the evaporation part of the water cycle, water does move from Earth’s surface into the atmosphere, due to sunlight water temperature rise and is converted into vapor.
During the condensation process, the water vapor cools down and again converts into water.
Following condensation, there is precipitation in which water returns to earth from the atmosphere in the form of rain and is collected at reservoirs.
