4. Deoxyribonucleotide is a nucleic acid. The building block that form nucleic acid are nucleotides.

5. A nucleotide in DNA is made up of a phosphate, pentose sugar and a base (A,T,G,C)

6. Adenine, thymine, Guanine and Cytosine area the nitrogenous bases found in DNA.

7. DNA is a double helix, it has sugar deoxyribose, phosphate group backbone and it is double-stranded.

8. According to base-pairing rules, percentage of  Adenine is equal to Thymine and the percentage of cytosine is about the equal of Guanine.

9. TAGCTCGAAATCTAATGT

10. The DNA to the left is replicating via semi-conservative replication because the parent strand is acting as a template for daughter strand.

11. Nucleotide, DNA Chromosome.

Explanation:

DNA is a nucleic acid that stores genetic information of an organism. It is made up of a pentose sugar deoxyribose, phosphoric acids and nucleosides. These together are called nucleotides. Nucleosides are nitrogenous base+pentose sugar.

The four bases present in DNA are two purine bases they are Adenine and Guanine and two pyrimidine bases Thymine and cytosine.

Watson and Crick gave Double-helix structure of DNA. Each strand has an alternating groups of sugar and phosphate. The two bases from the complementary strands are connected via hydrogen bonds. The structure has a key role in replication and protein synthesis.

According to Chargaff rule A+G=C+T

The adenine will always be equal to Thymine and Guanine will always be  equal to Cytosine in a DNA molecule.

The DNA base-pairing is complementary as A with T and G with C will pair.

Chromosomes are made up of proteins and DNA, carry genetic information as genes. DNA is made up of nucleotide. A Nucleotide is nitrogenous base+sugar+phosphate group.

The semi-conservative replication is the one in which each daughter strand has one of the parent strands.
