List the atomic numbers of elements in Period 2 of the periodic table. Locate the atomic numbers on your graph. What is the general trend in electronegativity as the atomic number increases across Period 2? 2pts --

List the atomic numbers of elements in Group 2 of the periodic table. Locate the atomic numbers on your graph. What is the general trend in electronegativity as the atomic number increases down Group 2? 2pts

Respuesta :

Hydrogen, helium, neon. electronegativity means ability to attract electrons.

helium, & neon do not need anymore electron. they are in column 8. Hydrogen is in column 1 but it depends on what it is reacting with to gain  or lose an electron.

3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10  electronegativity increases

As you go down a group the electronegativity decreases
