As the fraction says, 1/3 (1 & 3). 1 over 3 is the exact same as 1 divided by 3, it is still one third of one.

When you divide fractions, you keep change flip. So in the end you're multiplying. To solve, just find what times is 1 and what times what is 3? For example, 1 times 1 is one, and 1 times 3 is 3. The fraction would be 1/3 times 1/1. Since you flip the second one to solve, the answer would be 1/3 times 1.
