2. You drop a lit match into a glass of water.
- Answer: The fire would burn out once the match enters the water.
3. You stir one spoonful of sugar into a glass of water.
- Answer: The sugar would dissolve into the water.
4. You put small pieces of iron into a glass of water and leave them there for a month.
- Answer: Rust will occur. The presence of water and air will make the iron turn the water into that signature reddish-brown color.
