If we have to solve for d1, we have to divide both sides by d2. And if we have to solve for d2, we have to divide both sides by d1 . That is
[tex]d_{1} = \frac{2A}{d_{2}} , d_{2} = \frac{2A}{d_{1}}[/tex]
