Ester reacts with both an amine that is known as aminolysis when ester reacts with an alcohol or water is known as hydrolysis of ester.
But between both the reactions, aminolysis that is its reaction with an amine is faster than that of hydrolysis as amine is a better nucleophile, that can attack carbonyl carbon more readily than that of hydroxide and thus reaction occurs at a faster rate.
The both reaction can be seen in the image attached.
