A=L*W
L=8 cm
W------> is the radius of the semicircle
W=8/2-----> W=4 cm
A=8*4-----> A=32 cm²

find the area of the semicircle
A=pi*r²/2
r=4 cm
A=(3.14)*4²/2-----> A=25.12 cm²

step 3
Area of the shaded reigion=32-25.12-------> 6.88 cm²
