1). Performing a vertical translation on a trapezoid preserves its orientation as well as its dimensions because the translation only changes the position of the trapezoid on the coordinate plane and there is no change in its dimensions.
2). Performing a rotation about its origin on a trapezoid preserves its orientation as well as its dimensions. The reason is same as for vertical translation. Rotation does not affect the dimension of the trapezoid.
