In class we discussed the scenario of a large hospital such as University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics hypothetically investigating the purchase of electric warming blankets to be used by patients in recovery after major surgery. Nursing services suggested this initiative be considered to improve patient care, and surgeons agreed. The finance group is addressing the financial feasibility. The purchasing group told the nurses and doctors that they didn't have time or resources to consider the purchase or change for 16 months due to other priorities. In this scenario
