Hi Lisa—I'm impressed by how well your summary covered the main ideas in the autobiographical essay, "The Fish I Didn’t Catch." However, I noticed that your summary is about as long as the original text. Since a summary should be briefer than the text it summarizes, maybe you could revise your summary a bit, leaving out minor details or rewriting some of the sentences to say the same thing, but with fewer words.
